Junior Theme Part 2

So far, everything is going well with my Junior Theme. My research is great. I am finding so many things on Title IX and the sexism of women in sports. I emailed a few people who are very involved with Title IX and have an interview set up via email with Bernice Sandler who is a woman who was very involved with Title IX. She developed and organized a successful national campaign to press for the development and passage of Title IX and other laws to end sex discrimination in education and has worked with title IX longer than any other person. I am very fortunate to get this opportunity to ask her questions on this very interesting topic.

Be careful doing your research. Most Feminists will intentionally mislead you about Title IX. I noticed the Mission Hockey logo.. look into what Title IX has done to boys who play ice hockey, roller hockey, lacrosse, or field hockey. If you're feeling particularily brave and altruistic, look into what it does to the boys in the classroom

Most Feminists don't want you to know the true facts. They make excuses as to why it's acceptable to discriminate against young boys on the fields and in the classroom. They don't want you giving up your protections to settle for just equal rights and fair opportunities.

If you believe in equal rights.. get in contact with people like Christina Hoff Summers, Jessica Gavora, or Eric McErlain.

I'm not saying Title IX started as a bad idea, it's become one. Look into it. Do the research. Don't be a shill... use your brain and examine the facts, not just the propeganda. Come to an informed opinion

It's up to you.. are you going to challenge the establishment and fight for equal rights or buy into the reasons why it's acceptable to discriminate against children?

Claire.

It seems like your finding a lot of information...that's great! I noticed from your Noodle Bib account, you have cited anything from Opposing Viewpoints. Have you looked there? If not, please go there. It should offer you some good insight into both sides of the issue.

I agree with ms. Eich. You should go check out opposing viewpoints. This was really helpful for me.
